  I have ordered here a few times for carry out. Every time I go to pick it up, I see some kind of event happening there.
  The food is great.
  Some friends and I decided to try the buffet. They have a Sunday brunch that is around $15.00 per person. It comes with a drink too. (Mimosa if you'd like)
  The wait staff is very attentive. The buffet has the top few Indian Dishes, including Chicken Tikka Masala.
  If you're in the area and want some tasty authentic food, swing by here for their daily buffet. I do have to say don't miss the salad bad bar close to the door. I did. It looked good. I guess it gives me a reason to go back!

  Ordered tikka masala and garlic naan to go. Its not bad. Tikka Masala $9.95 was creamy and tasty.. But it is a little pricey.. The container is approximately 16 oz container
  
  Garlic naan was just okay. I had better.

  I've been here quite a few more times since my previous review. Had lunch here again yesterday. It's time for an updated review...
  
  SWAD is still the best Indian food around. They are the real deal. They understand the art of true Indian cuisine. Other Indian food restaurants always taste's like they left out a couple of ingredients. Not SWAD. The chef here knows what he's doing.
  
  I usually come to the weekday lunch buffet. $10.99 and worth every penny.
  
  Complex flavors, food variety amazing, food quality amazing, food temperature hot, cleanliness amazing, buffet items quickly replenished, pleasant environment, and always attentive service here. All good.
  
  I'm very particular when it comes to ethnic foods. It had better be real. I'm a foody snob and can easily tell the difference. I'm not easily fooled by any restaurant that pretends to know what they are doing in the kitchen. SWAD is the real deal.
  
  Highly recommended and in particular, their excellent lunch buffet.

  Hands down best Indian food I've ever had! I am so happy we found this place. And the staff was so friendly made our experience that much better.

  I was craving Indian food this evening and while I have passed this place a million times in my lifetime, I finally stopped in for dinner tonight. This is absolutely a hidden gem in Upland and a new go-to spot for Indian food.
  
  This place has two parts - a restaurant and a HUGE banquet hall. The restaurant is located on the west side of the building and is fairly small while the banquet hall has its own entrance, a lobby area, and a massive space for hosting any type of event. Two gentleman gave me a tour after my dinner and I was blown away by the space. It's very classy and elegant and is maintained very nicely. There's two bars on both sides of the room and a built-in dance floor. I would absolutely recommend visiting if you're looking to host an event in the near future. It also sounds like they book up fast and there isn't many Saturdays available the remainder of the year.
  
  The restaurant was fairly small but they have many tables that can be pulled together for parties of any size. There's also a large full bar in the front which takes up a lot of space but is beautiful to look at.
  
  They have a daily lunch buffet and a full menu for the evenings. I tried the samosas and the non-Vegetarian dinner plate which comes with two pieces of chicken, a vegetarian curry, non-vegetarian curry, rice, naan, lentils, a dessert, and a few other items for $20.99. This was a decent deal although I did not partake in some of the dishes on my plate. I requested just one more piece of naan at the end of my meal and they brought me out a full basket and charged me close to $3 for it (which was disappointing). Everything came out hot though and was delicious.
  
  Service was excellent and I will definitely be back for the buffet again. There's a huge parking lot in the strip mall (where this is located) that is shared by other stores and services.
